Meet the Team

Chris Nichols
President & Founder
Chris has over 20 years experience in the data industry and, in 1994, started Digital Research which was a privately held company that provided public records and investigative information to attorneys, private investigators and other licensed professionals. In 1999 Chris co-founded PeopleFinders.com where he designed and built parts of PeopleFinders.com’s business model, data warehouses and search systems. After a tenure at PeopleFinders.com Chris started Accurate Append.

Jimmy Zimmerman
Chief Technologist & Partner
Jimmy has over twenty years of experience in software engineering and spent the last ten years as a senior technology architect for Microsoft before joining Accurate Append. Along the way Jimmy has worked for large players in the data space including Realty Plus Online, First American Real Estate Solutions, Intel Corp, and others. He specializes in designing services infrastructure, distributed computing solutions, and object modeling.

Shawn Smith
General Manager
Shawn has 20 years of experience leading customer-focused teams to drive profitability and growth within diverse marketplaces including SaaS, ERP, Cloud, Data Analytics, Healthcare, Banking/ Finance/ Insurance, non-profits, and CRE. Before joining Accurate Append, Shawn focused on driving value in technology organizations through strategic planning utilizing data-driven insights and key operational initiatives that delivered lasting monetary value to all shareholders.

Cindy Novak
Sales Director
Cindy is an accomplished and results-driven Sales Executive with a proven track record spearheading regional and national growth initiatives across diverse industries, including SaaS, Banking, Finance, Mortgage, Education, Medical, Attorneys & Auto.
Cindy is proficient in cultivating high-value enterprise relationships, providing tailored solutions, and equipping our clients with the confidence they need to make strategic business decisions. She also has been a Featured Speaker at a variety of trade shows as an industry expert.

Jason Bright
Principal Software Engineer
Jason joined Accurate Append in 2026 with 30 years of software engineering experience in enterprise software and platform modernization. He specializes in AI-assisted development, with a deep background in .NET, React, Azure, API design, and internal tooling. His work focuses on modernizing complex systems and making codebases easier to understand, test, and evolve. Before joining Accurate Append, Jason worked with Microsoft and co-founded Twin Oak Solutions, where he helped modernize legacy software platforms into .NET and React-based solutions.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys live comedy, bar trivia, and spending time with his wife and their animals: one cat, three dogs, and one horse.
